What Head Judges Do

Head Judges play a key role in making sure each competition runs fairly and smoothly. Their responsibilities include:

• Making sure teams follow PNWBA rules
• Ensuring judging procedures are followed correctly
• Overseeing score tabulation to determine event winners
• Making decisions during the event when questions or issues come up
• Working closely with event organizers and the PNWBA Event Representative to keep the competition on track

Authority

During a sanctioned event, the assigned PNWBA Head Judge has full authority to make decisions as needed. Their role is to protect the integrity of the competition and ensure a fair and consistent experience for all teams and judges.
