PNWBA Certified BBQ Judging Class

Think you know what makes great BBQ? Whether you're a BBQ enthusiast, a pitmaster looking to improve your scores, or just curious about what happens inside the judges' tent at a BBQ competition, this class is for you!

On Friday, November 7th, come join us at the Clearwater Casino and take part in the PNWBA Certified BBQ Judging Class. This is your chance to become a certified BBQ judge and taste some of the finest competition BBQ around. You’ll sample four classic BBQ meats:

• Chicken
• Pork Ribs
• Pork Butt (Shoulder)
• Pork Ribs

Once you’ve completed the class, you’ll be eligible to sign up and judge at any PNWBA sanctioned BBQ event. Whether you’re looking to gain insights as a pitmaster or just want to enjoy world-class BBQ, this class is the perfect way to dive into the world of competitive BBQ judging.

What to Bring:

• A notebook and pen for taking notes
• Your appetite! You’ll be tasting some mouthwatering BBQ during the class.

Entry Fee:

• $95.00 USD per Student
  (Includes one year of PNWBA membership)
• $10.00 of the registration fee is non-refundable for processing fees.
• Cancellations and refunds (minus processing fees) available until October 26, 2025.
