2022 Dessert Auction for Feed the Troops

As an organization, PNWBA is committed to supporting our military service personnel and veterans, and one of the ways we do this is by hosting Feed the Troops events as often as we can. PNWBA usually pays the full cost of these events and that includes the food and associated supplies. The funding for these events comes from our dessert auction at the Annual Awards Banquet, Saturday evening, November 12th.
So….we are asking that if you are attending our Banquet, you consider participating in our great and calorie laden dessert auction. Even if you don’t bake you can participate! Entries can be homemade or purchased….there is nothing wrong with a nicely decorated cake or cinnamon rolls!!
There will be a table set up in the banquet room to display your dessert entry prior to the auction. We ask that you provide a description of the dessert so that we can encourage bidding on your item. You should plan on your entry being able to feed a full table of 8 people. We want to be sure everyone at the table gets a chance to taste your entry. The more money we raise, the more events we can host for our troops and veterans.
And, as an added benefit, the donor of the dessert which raises the most money, receives their next year’s PNWBA membership fee paid!! So, everyone wins…our troops, our attendees, and you as the winning donor!!
If you are planning on being part of the auction, please register into the dessert auction event. While you don't need to be specific in your dessert, it would help us to know the category and "general idea" of the item to get an idea of what we will have.
Multiple desserts can be contributed, however, only one dessert per registration. You can register multiple times, with one dessert per registration. This allows our auction team the ability to monitor our need for desserts and the quantity of committed desserts. For a successful and well timed auction, please do not bring additional desserts that are not registered here.
If you change directions to a different dessert, you can cancel your registration and then re-register or notify the dessert coordinator of your change.
