New gate names for the OR State Fair this year. Teams enter at the same location off Silverton Rd. N.E. The old Yellow Gate is now Gate C. The parking lot by Gate C is now designated for handicap parking only. Team parking is reportedly at the "dry camping area" under the trees on the corner of Silverton Road N.E. and 17th St. N.E.; enter on 17th. Remember no vehicles allowed on the grounds during public hours of 9 A.M. to 10 P.M.
The old Red Gate on 17th St. N.E. is now Gate A. Judge's names are at that gate. It may be possible to drive up to Gate A, get a pass, then drive and (privately) park on Silverton Rd. N.E. and enter at Gate C.
I'm happy to say another event with no DQ's for the teams!! That's two in a row!
Congrats to the 3 teams and I want to again put out a special thank you to Cindy, Derrick, Joe Tucker who are cooking at the fair for 10 days so we could have this event. Thanks guys!
