Cheney, WA will also be the site of PNWBA Pitmaster Cooking and Judging Classes this year. The date is set for May 19 and we still need more class and judging students. If you need cooking equipment, you can request a loaner Weber Smokey Mountain cooker from the PNWBA. I took the class last year and found it very valuable when I competed for the first time. I am taking the judging class this year to understand what the judges are looking for when scoring the food. The Holiday Inn Express in Cheney has a special rate for the event at $99/night.
