This is the official Call for Judges for the North Surrey Auto Mall CAR-B-QUE
At this time we have enough judges who have volunteered.
This is a one day Light Cook so the categories are a bit different than a two day cook.
Come out and judge Salmon, Chicken, Beef Tri-Tip and Pork Ribs.
When: Sunday August 26
Where: North Surrey Auto Mall
Guildford Drive, one block east of 152 Street and 108 Avenue
Surrey, BC
Sponsored by: North Surrey Auto Mall and Well Seasoned
Head Judges: Mayben & Jackie Amos
Schedule: Please note the original schedule was incorrect.
This is the correct schedule:
10:30 am Judges Meeting
11:30 am Salmon
12:30 pm Chicken
1:30 pm Beef Tri-Tip
2:30 pm Pork Ribs
4:00 pm Awards
We need Judges, Table Captains and helpers.
Please include your PNWBA Judges Number when signing up.
Attendance at the Judges meeting is mandatory. You will be replaced if you are late, or do not attend.
The Judging Area will be outside the Hundai Dealership Service area.
This will be outdoors in a tent so dress appropriately for the weather.
Bring a cooler with ice for your left overs.
Eat a light breakfast as you will be getting lots of protein!
Please do not wear perfumes or colognes.

I will put you as our first Alternate so there is a good chance you will get to fill in for a cancellation, or a no show..
I'm not sure if we will be needing more judges yet. As the Team list grows I will have a better idea.
We will definitely need some help in the Judging area so your help there would be appreciated.quote:

The registration form has different times listed for turn in.
examples:
11:30for Salmon
12:30 for tri tip
chicken 1:30
and so on....
Just wondering which is correct? |

Barring any other cancellations this will be the final list of judging positions.

Yes, unfortunately that is what happens when the number of judges needed is reduced. He was notified of the change earlier. Those who were higher on the list were reassigned, and those lower had to be dropped.quote:

Mayben: I would be willing to forfeit my spot for someone else to judge. Looking at the calendar and finances, I don't see being able to make it up there for this event.
