This is the Call for Judges for the McKinley Springs BBQ Showdown
We could use six more judges for this event.
Come on out and judge some great bbq at a beautiful winery.
Date: Saturday June 9, 2012
Location: McKinley Springs Winery
1201 Alderdale Road
Prosser, Washington
Note: The winery is located about 21 miles outside of Prosser
Head Judges: Mayben and Jackie Amos, Stacia Norris
Schedule:
10:00am Judges Meeting
11:00am Pork Butt
12:00pm Brisket
1:00pm Chicken
2:00pm Ribs
3:00pm Sausage
5:00pm Awards
We need Judges, Table Captains and Helpers
Attendance at the Judges Meeting is Mandatory.
You will be replaced if you are late.
Bring a cooler and ice for your left-overs.
Have a light breakfast as you will be sampling lots of good bbq.
No perfumes or cologne, please.
Include your CBJ# when signing up.
Accommodation is available in both Prosser and Sunnyside.
On site self contained RV parking is available.
There is no power available on site, quiet generators are allowed.
RVs may park Friday night prior to the event.
Please let me know if you plan to stay on site when you are signing up.
This is a great event in a beautiful location.

| Bob Ferguson, CBJ#200436, would like to judge this event please. I hope to stay closer but that's not anyone else's problem. I see three heads makes this one mucho better. It will be great seeing all you cooks and judges in that great location. |

This is one last request for additional judges for this event.
Additional teams have signed up so we could really use a fourth table of judges.
You will be guaranteed some of the best barbecue around.
There are the standard four categories plus sausage. |

| Drive up the road from the gate - you will see the lawn and tents. There is a two story building that is the winery on the left. Judging will be in a building in the back - a warehouse type structure. This is a great event - you will enjoy it for sure! |
