Hello BBQ Judges,
We have almost 40 registrations and have added another table - we still need assistance on Saturday & table captains for both days! Thank you!
Your services are required at the Washington State Spring BBQ Championships. This is a new 2 day event event being held at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds in Monroe, Washington on Sunday April 29th.
Prior to the main competition - on Saturday April 28th, there is a CBJ class being offered at 9am, if you or someone you know is interested in attending you can register through the calendar section of the PNWBA website.
Here are the details for the competition day; please pay particular attention to the meeting time – as you are aware, your attendance at the meeting is mandatory, if you aren’t there on time your space will be filled by someone else. When signing up, please list your full name and PNWBA CBJ number so we can add you to the list. Don’t forget to bring your coolers & an ice pack for your leftovers, have a sensible breakfast with some fiber and remember no cologne or strong perfume please. There are no open categories at this event and it is a NO GARNISH contest.
Free parking is available on the east side of the fairgrounds.
Saturday April 28th - 2 additional categories have been added

Turn ins are at 3 & 4pm - judges meeting will be at 2:30pm in the judges area

| Judges: For those that need a hotel, please book at the Best Western Sky Valley Inn. Make sure that you tell them you are with the Washington State Spring BBQ Championship for the reduced event rate. |

| i dont know what my number is. where would i find it? i did the class at Branks (sumner) about 4 or 5 years ago. it was the first time they had it at Branks. i think that the last time i judged was at Black Diamond or Pike Place. i have a bad memory. |
