Frank-was the cheap motel from last year adequate. I know they have an opening or two.

Not sure if you mean you have a helper on your team or if there will be two teams.

Please advise

Ron, that is perfect!! I noticed a shortage of desserts and recruited my neighbor, who is a former caterer from SF to make one of her specialties. I figure we will have 60+ people at the potluck so the more the merrier. I am sure we can find a home for the cake if you double the recipe. thanks

well, we do have 12+ teams, each donating about 1 1/2 slabs of ribs after turn-ins to judges and firemen. Plus 3-4 teams doing their brisket, which after slicing up a few pieces for the judges, might have a little meat they can submit to the potluck.

You're right, not enough meat. Besides your chicken wings will stand out and be down right attractive after tasting all those ribs

Jesse, I will try to reach Sasquatch BBQ to see if they are still coming. they have not confirmed back to me yet. Will let you know by Tuesday, if that is not too late.

Jesse,
Sasquatch BBQ will not be competing, so the opening is available for you. Let me know asap

Hello Teams!

I look forward to seeing all of you this Saturday at the 2nd Annual Winter Blues Rib Rally in Vancouver, WA. We have a table of 6 highly experienced and eager Judges that will judge your turn in and then share with you what they scored it and why. There is only 10 minutes for the whole process, so you may want to have some questions in mind before hand and maybe even take notes. This year, we've made it possible for you to receive the score sheet/comment card at the end of the event. Other than the part of "facing the judges" all normal judging procedures will be followed.

THANKS . . . Jane
