I told you it was real....
Andrea went to bed and I was left to cut up the chicken. She said it looked like it had been "hacked up"
I told her a bear must have cut it up because it looked mauled, she didn't believe me and said there were no bears.
Now I have proof. Now I just have to come up with an explanation of why the bear would hack up the chicken but not eat it.
Oh Oh I got it " he started to hack the chicken and then noticed it was a PNWBA event and not just any old bbq comp, so he took the chicken and placed it gently in the smoker and then left" I must have slept through the whole thing.

It was 1 of 3 that showed up that morning. Fortunately they did not get closer.
