Posted - 08/08/2012 : 07:19:19 I'm ready for ya this time . . . . . where are the teams?
I have 22 Judges (18 teams worth) for Saturday's extra categories and 32 (24 teams worth) Judges for Sunday's main event.
Could it be the location . . . light industrial? The charity . . . John Canzano's Bald Face Truth Foundation http://www.baldfacedtruth.org/ that will benefit from this event. Or is it the IPA Brewer's Challenge?
I don't know . . .
First 25 teams get Brisket, Pork Butt and Pork Ribs. In years past, there was a bottle of Jack D. and Tobasco for all the teams too!
Don't delay . . . sign up today! |

Posted - 07/24/2012 : 11:24:38 Gave our catering gig this weekend to Gil (too big for us) so we are considering this one provided we can park our 6x10 comp trailer onsite and vending/sampling is not mandatory. Power would be nice... Cheers! JD |

Posted - 07/21/2012 : 16:23:55 Gregg - Power need is a VPAP machine overnight. Plenty of extension cordage available. |

Posted - 07/19/2012 : 17:06:46 Pat and all, There's a limited amount of power available, it comes from building on the east side of 10th Street and we like to keep the teams that need it for cooking on that side if possible. Let us know your needs and as the event nears you should check with us for final availability and be prepared to bring your own extension cords.

Posted - 07/18/2012 : 21:22:50 Hi Pat, The site is in S.E. Portland behind the Blitz Ladd sports bar on a blocked off city street and space is tight and limited to about 20'X20'. With the fact that Duvall no longer is the same weekend, we are discussing space options if we have a larger turnout. In the past we have found a way to accommodate teams and our goal will be to work with your space requirements this year too. I'll keep you posted.

Posted - 07/18/2012 : 19:09:52 OMG Michael, is that Oregon CASI-boy Steve-the-Pirate-Price?! ARRRGH OK that settles it. I'm paid!
Gregg, Derrick or Jane: Oops, before I get too committed to this event, what's this about all trailers parked off-site? And I don't see the size of our sites listed anywhere. Could you address those two issues, please? (I'm refering to a comp trailer, out of which many of us work and in which many of us sleep.)
And finally - electricity? |
