Hi all . . . . looking forward to seeing all of you this Sunday!
Sausage Rules that we are using for this event are attached to the Cooks Rules found here on the website. Please make sure you follow them. Homemade sausage is what we are looking for . . . no store bought will be allowed.
SATURDAY, JUNE 30TH
10:00 AM – 7:00 PM TEAM LOAD-IN TIME
SUNDAY, JULY 1ST
6 AM TEAM LOAD-IN
7 AM MEAT INSPECTION . . . Who is providing the coffee?
8 AM COOKS MEETING . . . . I'll bring the muffins!
11 AM JUDGES MEETING
BOX TURN-IN TIMES
NOON SAUSAGE TURN-IN
1 PM TRI-TIP TURN-IN
2 PM CHICKEN TURN-IN
3 PM RIBS TURN-IN

I want to remind you that we will be using our PNWBA Sausage rules for this event. You can find those rules under Cooks Rules on this site, last page of the document.
This should be a fun event, weather forecast looking good and a great little venue. I look forward to seeing you all there. |

Daddy and Me would love to do this one...but the 540 mile round trip from Bothell is giving us some pause (as is my potential work schedule and/or Katie's chance to go on a church missions trip).
Sure wish there were some one-day comps closer to our home... |

This is going to be a great one day event. Lot's of stuff for the kids to do at the park where we will be located. Lovely drive from Salem. The BBQ comp is part of their annual 4th of July celebration where the whole town comes out to show support for their community and to celebrate together. The organizer's of the event have been working to provide everything we need. This is going to be a fun one, don't miss it! |
