It seems as if there are a growing number of competition bbq cooking classes being offered ,I’m sure these are somewhat helpful but I’m concerned that a crucial aspect of competitive bbq is overlooked.
To address this oversight Ice Harber Brewing Company is offering a Competition bbq beer drinking class. This class will give you insight and tips that will affect you and those around you.
The class will cover the following;
Pairing of beer/bbq
Container choice- bottle or can
Container closure devices
Methods of removing/opening container closure
Picking the right color of party cup
Inappropriate language and behavior
Choosing the correct topics of debate (low n slow vs. hot n fast, religion, politics, pole dancing).
Effective use of alcohol related behavior to your advantage against competitors
Using beer to start a wet t-shirt contest
Maintaining a safe distance between yourself and your competitors hot firebox in the procedure of draining processed malt beverage
How beer amplifies your personality
All students will be required to bring the following;
crappy fold-up lawn chair
ragged cut-off jean shorts
sleeveless t-shirt with a message that gives us insight to your personality
flip-flops
first aid kit
fire extinguisher
Upon completion of the class student will receive the following IHB products;
T-shirt with repulsive suggestion
Container closure removal assistance tool/flashlight/keychain
6-pack
toatl cost of class $23.95 ($26.95 if sold seperately)

Sincerely,
Douglas Root

I can be the designated driver, but can't stand a sloppy drunk-
MADDOG Posted - 04/10/2012 : 17:53:41
...and I can make the perfect drunk!

J.D.- That topic (hot n fast vs low n slow)was in reference to old girlfriend classification.

That seems like a lot of material to grap in just one day, is this going to be a weekend event?

I MUST sign up for this class. As a "newbie" to the competitive BBQ world you have just touched on all of my major questions!! You are too generous at that price, I would pay much more for this valuable information. Keep up the good work!!

Sooo...is this class teaching the guzzling or sipping technique...(Hot-N-Fast or Low-N-Slow)...

What about those of us who have moved on to higher octane drinks? Whiskey, Rum, Scotch, tequila, or the occasional homemade Apple Jack? Will there be an advanced class? If so I'm game!

I wish this class was available when I was drinking on the Professional circuit. I would have more to show than the tattered receipts for Attorneys fees, 12 Step booklets, and Deferred Prosecutions on my record. As it is now all I have to show for my drinking without BBQ knowledge is the tarnished brass plaque with my name on the Alcohol of Fame.

If you need a guest speaker with extensive knowledge in the use of alcohol fueled fireworks and pyrotechnics in and around BBQ's or a crowd, improper use of a fire extinguisher, or how to mooch booze like a Pro, let me be the first to offer my services! $23.95!! A bargain at any price! Damn Straight!!

I should be teaching the class! I'm available for this difficult work.
