I have decided to put all of my efforts into upgrading our 28 foot BBQ trailer, so I will be selling the fire truck , my loss could be your gain. This is an awesome rig and would be great as a show piece for a catering team that wants to break into the tailgating side of the business. I was planning on fixing it up by adding a prepping deck on top and the smokers in the back. You could also put a hitch on her and just pull your pit behind you.

Here are the Details:
Year: 1986
Make: Ford
Model: Pumper/Fire Truck
Mileage: Odometer reads: 10,750 miles
VIN: 1FDYD80U2GVA00180
Running Condition: Starts & Runs is in good condition.
Engine: Diesel 3208 CAT engine
Transmission: 5 speed
Tires: 11.00-20 load rating G

MPG: I pick it up from Winthrop and drove it home over the pass, I would estimate the it gets between 8-10 MPG, and that was driving over the pass.

Options: 1986 Grumman pumper. 3208 CAT engine, 5 speed transmission, 6 man cab, open in rear. Top mount control. 1250 GPM two stage WATEROUS pump, 500 gallon tank. Bottom pump enclosure for cold weather operations. 35 Foot 3 section ladder, power steering.

This is a great fire truck in very good condition, it was store inside the fire station for most of its life and almost looks brand new. I saw one of these fire truck units at the American Royal, a BBQ/Cater was usinging it as there BBQ pit. He told me that he had won party of the year two years in a row with the fire truck and that it was a great BBQ magnet for potential customers. I wanted to do the same thing here, but I have to many projects right now and can’t find any time to work on this one. I’m going to be posting this on Craigslist as well so if your interested let me know soon so you don’t miss out. Asking price $12,500 OBO I am willing to negotiate some and I will even consider a partial trade of BBQ/Catering equipment. Give me a call and we can talk about it. James @ 206-786-0082

I'm thinking this could be my sons daily driver back and forth to school. At least people would get out of his way.... Oh and James..... If I had your money, i'd burn mine. JAMESSSSSSSS JONESSSSSSS

That P38 looks like it would probably rock the "Hot & Fast" style once you started those engines. :)

I was thinking vintage sports car and WW2 Airplane, they are both on my list or maybe a tank. But if there is a Shuttle available and I can turn it and make a few bucks I would consider it.
