Thanks to everyone who came out to support our 1st ever Big Red Barn Burner BBQ Contest.

A huge thank you Gary, Lisa, James and Dave for being such fantastic hosts. We could not have asked for better people to work with, you guys rock!

Thank you to Bonnie and the crew at Johnston's Pork, we appreciate your support and I think all the teams agree that you have some of the best pork butts and ribs we have ever cooked.

Thanks to the excellent maintenance staff at Heritage park for keeping the teams set up with power and water and making sure we had what we needed, we appreciate all you do.

Thanks to Kim, Chef Dez and the wonderful staff from Well Seasoned Gourmet Food Store and to Mayben, Jackie and all the volunteers that came out to judge, table captain, pass out flyers and samples and just help out where needed, we couldn't have done it without you.

To all the teams from all over the PNW, that drove as much as 600 miles to play in Chilliwack.....Thank you, its people like you that make what we do so much fun.

And last but not least, thank you Angie for for all you do, you are a true asset to BBQ. Thank you baby for letting me be a part of it all.

Now, lets do it again!

Hey Rob, Ill be heading to the bbq shop in the next few days before chiliwack so if you let me know how much you want I can pick it up. I do have half a bag of poorly marked, 97% ceratin hickory traeger brand, pellets as well if that gets you over the hump.
steve6224 Posted - 03/19/2012 : 13:02:09
No problem. I'll be there 07:00 Sat AM so see you then
Prairie Smoke Posted - 03/19/2012 : 12:57:42

gotta get me a propane blow torch thingy that some folks use to light their coals. Melt a path to the dungeon
either way, I will be bringing the smaller version of my small pit!
LOL

Wow.. crazy!
The "EH" Team Posted - 03/13/2012 : 09:47:45
I dunno know if I can get into my basement to get my pit!
snowed over a foot in past 48hrs! Still snowing today.
need some sun to melt some roof snow that has fortified all access to the basement.
Several feet of snow to climb over at this point.
See what happens over the next week!
